Driving from Spokane to Seattle yesterday, the sky put on a dramatic show for most of the trip! Stunning. With equipment other than my phone (Samsung Galaxy S4) and my trusty little Nikon, I could have had some amazing photos.
Oh, and if I had not been driving 70 MPH!

Along with the Sun Halo were these cloud rainbows! I have never seen anything like this before!

It was like the Northern Lights in the middle of the day!!
I really must wash my windshield!
My bugs love curves to climb on…..
My son’s favorite guitars!
My friend Michelle loves her grandchildren and builds/creates these amazing EDIBLE Holiday decorations!!! The Numbers of jelly beans, mini-marshmallows, gum drops, peppermints and gummy worms are uncountable!!

I love to photograph things I think are beautiful, but that won’t be easily or automatically defined. I’m not sure if this makes them “abstract” or not. (key to numbers at bottom)

rainbow seen on the wall from who knows where…
sun hitting the peep hole in the front door, as seen through the entryway curtain…
Isn’t holiday wrapping paper these days amazing?
jeweled light from crystal in window highlighting the cat’s missing “jewels”
science themed birthday party “favor”… psychedelic glasses (held over camera lens)
Sometimes I think I’m so “artsy”, but then I think I’m pretty funny too, so I may not be the best judge. But you can be. Tell me what you think of these shots of a rotating shadow on my Group Room wall.
Here’s the explanation, Abstract in its own way. This is a gift from a client about “removing her mask” in therapy…..cool, huh?
