time to stick my neck out I guess…..
I fell in like with a friend’s clock recently, a thing of beauty, but hard to capture…

I love to photograph things I think are beautiful, but that won’t be easily or automatically defined. I’m not sure if this makes them “abstract” or not. (key to numbers at bottom)

rainbow seen on the wall from who knows where…
sun hitting the peep hole in the front door, as seen through the entryway curtain…
Isn’t holiday wrapping paper these days amazing?
jeweled light from crystal in window highlighting the cat’s missing “jewels”
science themed birthday party “favor”… psychedelic glasses (held over camera lens)

I love not knowing what a photograph is…and then finding out it was so simple all along.

Same photo of a dark hallway, with and without flash…

From Bellevue, Washington to Pacific Grove, California (including camping in the Redwoods). This shot taken right after we were passed by the Hell’s Angels on the freeway next to Lake Shasta …hmm, reminds me of another great story.
Watch for “The Hell’s Angels meet the Mormons”!!
Sometimes I think I’m so “artsy”, but then I think I’m pretty funny too, so I may not be the best judge. But you can be. Tell me what you think of these shots of a rotating shadow on my Group Room wall.
Here’s the explanation, Abstract in its own way. This is a gift from a client about “removing her mask” in therapy…..cool, huh?
