Thought a blog might help me develop better writing habits so I could finally finish my book, 16 years in the writing, but so far it's mostly photos and FUN!

Love, love, love, love!! I am such a sucker for sunsets, sunrises and the moon. I am living vicariously through your experience since clouds and snow filtered my view. Again, just love your photos!
Spectacular. It is interesting for me to see how much more detail you get with a real camera compared to my iPhone camera.Mine doesn’t show that level of detail plus the color isn’t accurate. Our moon last night was very orange.
It wasn’t very orange or even yellow, more like Havarti cheese, here but what took my breath away was the color in all the clouds around it. My camera didn’t capture a tenth of that! Take that bright white moon and photoshop it into a sunset full of pink, rose, orange, peach and purple! That would be a much closer replica! I was so moved by it and would have missed it if I had not talked myself into marching all the way out to my mailbox in the below freezing temps! Several people in the post office line yesterday were talking about this moonrise!
Thanks for your comment. Looking forward to your next “installment” from India.
I used my point & shoot (well, it’s a pretty advance point & shoot with a super zoom lens) for all of that kind of photography. It’s the only camera of got with a long enough lens to shoot the moon 🙂 I love the moody, breaking cloud photos.
Wow! I love what you did with these images of the moon! How they flow into each other like frames in a film. I like the softness and the reddish color adds a wonderfully ethereal dimension.
wow thanks so much. I was truly moved by that moonrise…in part, because it was so un expected, such a surprise that it stopped me in my tracks for long moments of gratitude.
Lovely! Perfect song for this set of images!
Thanks. Hey, how’s the move coming??
