It’s not literally a Macro shot but a close up from the telephoto, of some recent bird-feeder visitors. I caught sight of these yellow claws so zoomed in for a close up.
Oh man would I love a macro of these guys’ feathers! Beautiful, subtle iridescent colors!
I don’t know who they are…a dove or pigeon of some kind. Anyone?

“Macro” refers to something large, where “micro” means small. … The camera lens you use is the real defining difference between close up and macro photography. Anyone can take a close-up picture, such as with a telephoto lens. But generally, macro photography can only be created with a macro lens
Just found this explanation. Those photos I took were with a telephoto lens. The beautiful flower pictures you take are probably macro, where you hold your phone right up close to the object.
hmmmm. Occasionally I hold the phone close to the object but I frequently zoom in as well. I do whatever it takes to get a clear picture. But only use an iPhone.
