On a walk once, I noticed these leaves above for blocks and blocks. What struck me was that both brown and green leaves were falling off, but the brown ones landed “face down”, while the green ones, with no exceptions, landed “face up.

Great pictures. Maybe the leaves landing face up or down is akin to dropping a slice of toast with butter? It is gusranteed to land butter side down. Try it. Cheers,H
