Thought a blog might help me develop better writing habits so I could finally finish my book, 16 years in the writing, but so far it's mostly photos and FUN!

looks like you need a little drywall and a tile job . And maybe an electrician to sort out that wiring . 🙂 The art work I get . 🙂
This is such an amazing old house! Built in 1908. Picked up and MOVED up the hill in 1938. And added on to five times before I bought her in 1976. Three more additions/remodels since then but we had never touched this original bathroom. We were amazed at the layers and layers inside the wall, including the discovery of an outside wall, which may mean the original little cabin had an outhouse!!!
One time, when my son was 7 or 8 years old, a hunk of paneling fell off the inside of his closet and $500, in fifties, fell out!
What stories this house could tell!!!

Yes! We uncovered it (Had to address some electrical issues) and it was a total surprise! There have been a lot of those in this great old house!

Wow! $500 in fifties? I wonder how old they were. Was the drawing already on the wood when the drywall fell off?
