Share Your World from Cee 1/1/18

What one word describes you best?

Searching……..

What is set as the background on your computer?

My sweet James

not this photo but I realized my background shot of him is too cluttered…

If you have been to a foreign country name those you have been too?

O man, a great way to answer this question would have been to put a small photo from each country right here. But they are all paper photos, in albums, in boxes, in the storage cabinet…the absolute last things to let go of in our current downsize (and the first things to save…well, after cats and people…if there is a fire.)

But here are the countries…not very many:

Mexico-all through childhood, having grown up in San Diego

Canada-also often, having lived most of my adult life in Washington state

France-for the 1192 Paralympics, Albertville and Tignes were the two places I visited as I was then married to a cross-country ski team member who was blind. (He got the bronze.)

Fiji-twice, sailing the Southern Lau Group both times and for more than a month each time

Jamaica-three times, twice for USATAA conferences and once, a just for fun trip

This could be seen as a pretty boring list but I wonder how many STATES in the USA others have camped in? For me it is FORTY SEVEN out of fifty!

What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

Thought a blog might help me develop better writing habits so I could finally finish my book, 16 years in the writing, but so far it's mostly photos and FUN!

  1. you know…that camping question had me thinking…and counting! I had more than I thought at 37 states! I guess I am a bigger traveler than i thought!

  2. beautiful views from your window! You’ve reminded me I need to put out my bird feeder. Its been sitting here on my bar for a couple of months and I keep forgetting about it.

      1. I forget to feed them most of the time. I still have some that hang out here. One little -wren I think it is-comes every year and makes a nest in my mailbox. When the mailman disturbs her enough, she moves around to the back porch and makes another one and has her babies there. Then I get to watch them flying around there til they get big enough to fly away. 🙂
