what is that lady house???? I LOVE it!!!!
It’s a tiny restaurant just South of Natchez, MS called Mammy’s Cupboard. Quite a history to it although if you look it up, the stuff they share about it is edited. It was called Black Mammy’s many years ago, and at some point they changed the name and lightened her skin color???
Absolutely amazing food though. Hummingbird Cake is my favorite!! And they do a mean Red Beans and Rice.
Hoping to visit it this September!
I just had to double-take the so-called Lady House. What!? Oh, the pink round house with the lady on the chimney. Yes. All very weird! Go back and take a photo of the resident! 🤗
