Thought a blog might help me develop better writing habits so I could finally finish my book, 16 years in the writing, but so far it's mostly photos and FUN!

These photos are in the least “decorated” part of the house. When the grandkids and their Dad (my son) moved in, we gave up design for creating space.
But I do love combinations of blues and greens. I used to be strictly an all BLUE person, but James prefers green so I had to shift and re-decorate 11 years ago when he moved in. Now I’m loving our two colors together. Maybe I’ll do a post about that. So symbolic of blending our lives.
The “beast” was the sweet and innocent Miss Lucy, our woodpile-born kitten. We cannot figure out how she gets in and under some of the things she hides in. Her favorite “toy”, “bed”, etc. is a large (Costco size) paper-towel plastic wrapping. She sleeps in it!
I love the color combinations

What a lovely way to put it. The blending of your lives.
That’s a nice quilt! What beast was hiding under there? Did I mention my mum is a Mad-Quilter? (She says passionate) semantics!

Jamima likes to claw her way inside the quilt that is folded across the end of the bed for decoration. And I do mean ‘Claw’………
