Practicing re-blogging?

I keep coming across such delightful writers and wanted to pass them on…

My Toes are Betraying Me

Hysterical!

I just want to scoop her up and hug her!!

Now are those “re-blogs” or “pingbacks”?

I know, I know, take the dang wordpress class, right?

Thought a blog might help me develop better writing habits so I could finally finish my book, 16 years in the writing, but so far it's mostly photos and FUN!

  1. THAT’S what that thing next to “like” is for!! duh, red face. But thanks again, I think I’ve got it. So I could have used it for all those people I copied and pasted the link to your “hair” post, right?

    1. I was going to say the same thing Marilyn did.

I’m not sure what you meant in your last sentence of this comment but if you are saying that you could have reblogged her article onto your blog instead of sending links other people and telling them about it you are right.

Take a look at the reblog I did of Sreejit’s hair post: https://livinglearningandlettinggo.wordpress.com/2016/08/27/nearly-42-years-of-hair/. When you reblog you are given the opportunity to write an intro to your reblog. You will see that in the link I just gave you.

I think it is best to ask people’s permission to reblog unless you know it is okay with them. It is fine with most bloggers but some get upset if you don’t ask.
