The story….
Those who see pictures of my son often mistake his very Italian father for his brother. They look a lot alike.
He certainly doesn’t look anything like me.
It wasn’t until we found an old photo of MY grandfather (extremely Irish) that we saw some family resemblance on my side of the family.
He looks so much like your grandfather. I love all of those pictures of him. Beautiful to see the family resemblance.
You can see the resemblance in your son to both the Irish and Italian sides. And your son is gorgeous.

Thanks pattimoed. Yeah it was a challenge to raise that boy with those looks. Not because he was particularly vain. But because my other Single Mom friends bordered on inappropriate thoughts when he was an older teenager! aargh!
And now my grandsons, whew, also gorgeous!
